TOPIC: Civil Protection in Emergencies


EVENT: natural disaster in the north east of Milan

INTRODUCTION The
GCVPC CAMBIAGO to organize on 24th January 2010, the General Civil Protection exercise called "Rainbow", in relation to the theme: "Civil Protection in Emergencies."
Participants: local associations and groups of PC, Health Care, Dog Units and Fire Unit from the various municipalities in the Province of Milan, Monza and Brianza.
Purpose: To assess the efficiency and effectiveness of joint working groups, the harmony between volunteers and its ability to interact with the control room, in compliance with the intervention protocols. The awareness of the emergency must train volunteers to offer early intervention and qualified in the event of natural disasters real mass.
Method: Associations and Groups of Civil Defence are confronted with various relief efforts, through their participation, in person, a complex operational maneuvers.

The population will, in advance, advised to avoid exercise brought alarm.

SCENARIO

OPERATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

The organization recommends that all participants, the maximum commitment to comply with certain rules:
The exercise is being held in all weather conditions.
The base camp is equipped with bins or bags for waste collection.
Each tent must be equipped with a fire extinguisher.

Each group has an obligation to provide the direction of the base camp of the "guinea pigs" for the various simulations.
All associations and groups have a duty to leave your desk in perfect condition and not to leave waste.
The emergency vehicles are to park in spaces assigned to them, within the Base Camp.
During all maneuvers, the associations and groups, should be set up shifts for the radio operator. All calls are forwarded via radio without notice.
All volunteers must wear PPE and PPE regulations specific to certain scenarios.

The organization accepts no liability sull'infortunio participants, the possible faults and caused damage to the operational means for negligence in the exercise.
